• Institute headed by Dr. Anil Sinha, Director with 37 years of Design Education Experience inclusive 33 years National Institute of Design (NID). He has been a member of the jury for the selection of Indian Rupees (₹) symbol. He is the designer of our Indian currency coin of Rs. 1, 2 & 5 and he has many laurels in his pocket like Gujarat High Court Emblem, National Handloom logo, National Highway Authorities of India logo, IIM Indore logo and many more. Involvement of Dr Anil Sinha in teaching and mentoring the students.
• All Faculty members have completed their master’s degree in their respective specialized design areas and are pursuing their doctoral studies in their specialized domains.
• All faculties have Master’s degree from NID, NIFT and other National level importance institutes.
• Faculty members & students published their work in international repute journals.
• Faculty members & students jointly applied for start-up projects and got Government of Gujarat funding.
• Well researched curriculum.

Location and Infrastructure

GLS Institute of Design is situated at the heart of Ahmedabad city (central location), Gujarat.

Technology:

High tech Apple Lab, Hi- configurations computer lab, fully equipped product lab and workshop, Hi-end Fashion Lab, Sound and Film Making Studio.

Industry Exposure:

Students are able to get placements in top companies well before completion of their degree programs. Students have completed their summer internships at National and International studios and institutions. Frequent industry collaboration for classroom live projects.

International Exposure:

More than 20 International Tie-ups in almost all developed countries like USA, UK, Australia, Canada, UAE, etc…. Continuous International exposure provided by the institute to their existing students for their master’s Admission abroad.

Our design graduates are pursuing their Masters degree in top global design universities & institutes like RCA – UK, Parson School of Design – USA, Thomas Jefferson - USA, Seneca College – Canada, Aalto University – Finland, Poli design – Italy, Arizona state University- USA, Coventry University – UK, Estonian Academy of Arts – Estonia, etc.
