Navratri festival is the joyous way of worshiping Goddess Durga. This is one of the most ancient festivals dating back to the times immemorial. The festival is celebrated all over the country with joy and passion. ‘Nav’ means nine and ‘Ratri’ means night. The festival is so-called as it encompasses celebrations over a period of nine nights.

We at our Institute celebrate this festival over a period of three days instead of nine. The festival is more of a cultural spectacle where the students, faculty members and staff come together to perform the traditional dance form called ‘Garba’ on the thumping beats of traditional and Bollywood music in honour of Goddess Durga. The events are primarily organized by the students, of the students, for the students. The atmosphere gets electrifying with the beat, loud music, synchronized dance steps, vibrant traditional outfits, and a nip in the air.
