GLS Institute of Design was formally incorporated on 27th February 2016. Every year we celebrate the founding of our institute on this very day. Our foundation day is a very special day that reflects not just the beginning of the institution but also projects the overall development since its inception. The tradition of planting saplings to observe the day is an occasion to cherish. It is a day to treasure our achievement as an institute. It is a chance to remind ourselves about our beginnings.
Faculty members, employees and students come together to get immersed in the nostalgic journey and celebrate the history that we have written together. It is celebrated as a cultural festival of the students, by the students, for the students. The on-campus atmosphere gets vibrant when our students come flocking in cultural attire, install their food stalls and stage a cultural program of music and dance. It is indeed a day to look forward to every passing year.
