Environment & Space Design

Educational Trips and visit are integral part of learning for Environment & Space Design. There are two components to trips, one is RSP – Related Study Program and other is more of enhancement to technical knowledge, manufacturing process and so on.

Related Study Program is a week module where we take students to various city where thorough market research is done to understand finer aspects of context and its aspects. This year, Retail Studio is the subject of study. So students visited Jaipur to get exposure to observe various retail spaces and its format, interaction with real consumer, socio-cultural aspects of the city, and bringing wholistic understanding of the system. This understanding is well documented through sketches, observations, Interviews, Photographs, Videos and becomes the base for Design Project.

Visits are short trips where students are exposed to manufacturing unit, material treatments and processes, application of new technology, new trends and materials.
